Hey family,
 
I have had quite an eventful week; it is not even Wednesday yet, Lol!
 
Today's post is a build up on my previous post on things to note when starting your own blog. It is in the new blog category 'Blogging tips'
 
Here it is just in case you missed it.
 
 
Here are some skills you need to have! Enjoy!
 
IMAGE EDITING
 
 
 
Pictures or Images play a very vital role in blogging and you are required as a blogger to know how to edit and create images using some image editing tools.
Asides having to download them on to your PC, you can find some online for free. 
Pixlr Editor, Fotor, Polyvore and PicMonkey are a few of the online photo editors you can use.
 
You may need to label images or place texts on them for illustrations or to claim ownership of photos taken by you.
This might become difficult without a good knowledge of these image editing tools.
 
 
GENERAL KNOWLEDGE OF THE INTERNET
 
 
LOL! Itunu!? How else would I have started blogging without this, You might say? but it is deeper than most people think.
Blogging is HARD WORK!
It requires a lot of online researches and if you do not have a good knowledge of the internet you may find it very difficult digging up important information on any subject matter.
You must also enjoy been 'ONLINE'
 
The blogosphere is a very big place to meet and build a relationship with not just your audience but  other bloggers. You can also learn a lot from them.
 
 
WORD PROCESSING
 
Blogging entails writing, formatting, numbering and so on. As a blogger you are required to know how to use Word Processing software like Microsoft Word or Note pad.
Sometimes you can put dow3n your thoughts on MS word, edit it before transferring to your blog template.
Another point under this is GOOD TYPING SKILLS-
Well except you plan on copying and pasting someone else's content to your blog, you have to type your thoughts and ideas!
 
 
BLOG/TIME MANAGEMENT
 
To succeed as a blogger, you need to have a good blog management skill.
 You should be able to manage your blogging needs such as editing your articles online, publishing contents, scheduling posts, editing your theme without breaking your blog, Social media integration and any other type of blog modification.
You need to be able to manage your blog by yourself and to do this you need to posses some basic computer skills like HTML.
This involves time as well and you must learn to manage the two so that you do not spend all the time on the internet all in the bid to improve your blog.
