ROBERTO CAVALLI

Roberto was born in Florence, Italy in November. His estimated net worth is $500 million. 
In 1994, his major creation, the sand blasted jeans were introduced into the market, which was later sold in more than 50 countries worldwide. Subsequently, he started launching his own fashion lines like Just Cavalli, which later featured eyewear, accessories, women’s wear, men’s wear, underwear, perfume, and beachwear. 
Roberto Cavalli was enlisted to shape up the pop star; Miley CYRUS' wardrobe for her fourth concert tour, which is just one of the numerous works to his credit.




Karl Anderson, Jr (MICHAEL KORS) AT $1 Billion




 Karl Anderson Jr. was born on August 9, 1959 in Long Island, New York. He attended Fashion Institute of Technology in 1977.
 During his teenage years, Kors designed clothes and named it Iron Butterfly. Then, upon dropping out the Fashion Institute of Technology, pursued his career as a fashion designer when he sold his designs in a small space at Bergdorf Goodman.
 Kors did his own men’s wear in 2002. His runway collection which includes MICHAEL Michael Kors and KORS Michael Kors lines were launched in 2004. He also ventured in bags, accessories, jeans,fragrances and shoes.
 He has been nominated 5 times for the CFDA’s Accessories Designer of the year award.
 Michael Kors’ successful fragrance collections complement the sleek, polished look he so effortlessly creates on the runway each season.
 His fragrances include Michael Kors, Michael Kors for Men, Island Michael Kors.

 DOMENICO DOLCE($1.37 Billion) and STEFANO GABBANA ($1.4 Billion)






Italian designer Domenico makes up one half of what is perhaps one of the most well-known fashion collaborations in history, Dolce & Gabbana.His parents owned a clothing factory, which provided him an avenue to learn how exactly clothes were designed and created. Dolce met Stefano Gabbana soon after he finished his studies, and the two of them began what was to become one of the biggest fashion empires in the world.
Stefano makes up the second half of the business partnership; Dolce and Gabbana that was founded in 1985. Gabbana was originally a graphic designer before he met Domenico Dolce. 
They were originally a romantic couple, they split in 2005 but still remained business partners.
They both becameand were declared billionaires in 2013 and were estimated to be worth about $2 billion but have dropped since 2013.
The brand specializes in producing clothing, footwear, handbags, sunglasses, watches, jewellery, perfumery and cosmetics.

RENZO ROSSO ($3.3 BILLION)


Rosso is a super innovative male designers. Another fantastic Italian born designer; he is popularly referred to as the 'jeans Genius' and is the mastermind behind the explosion of ‘stonewashed’ jeans (a treatment process for jeans in which the jeans are literally washed with stones to give them a faded, worn look), an innovative concept that Rosso perfected when he co-founded the popular clothing line Diesel.
Rosso owns 90% of OTB, the holding company through which he runs his global empire, which stands for Only The Brave. The other 10% is split between his two sons, Andrea and Stefano.


Ralph Lifshitz (RALPH LAUREN)


Ralph Lifshitz was born in The Bronx, New York, His story is an example of The American Dream.  taking out a $50,000 loan/risk, he started out his Polo brand by selling men’s neckties. Experiencing rapid success, he launched a line of suits, followed by a line of polo shirts that would define the Ralph Lauren image forever.
 Ralph Lauren has an estimated net worth of $5.2 billion as of April 2016, according to Bloomberg and is the SECOND richest male designer in the world.
Lauren has dozens of exotic cars (Bugatti, Bentley, Alfa Romeo, Ferrari) and a collector of vintage watches.




GIORGIO ARMANI



Italian fashion designer and the richest man in fashion, Giorgio Armani has a net worth of $6.7 billion as of September 2016,  according to Bloomberg; dropping from $8.5 billion in 2013.
 Armani was born to a poor family in Milan, his interest in fashion began at a young age, working in department stores and for other designers. Sergio Galeotti, a friend and future business partner encouraged him and he began to design independently and within a few short years his designs were making profits throughout Europe. The Armani brand is perhaps best known for its range of men’s suits, but the label as a whole is now synonymous with luxury. In the mid-1960s, Armani moved to the Nino Cerruti company, for which he designed menswear. 
He is known today for his clean, tailored lines. He formed his company, Armani, in 1975, and by 2001 was acclaimed as the most successful designer to come out of Italy, with an annual turnover of $1.6 billion.  
 Giorgio has even branched out from fashion to opening hotels in both Dubai and Milan.
