If you know me well, you know I love t.v series a little bit too much; I go for the mentally stimulating like crime and investigative series.

I do a bit of drama, thriller and action too. I just love anything that can get me thinking and stimulated.

Not a sucker for romance; all that mushiness gets me sick, Lol!

Here are my favourites IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER and I think you should try them out too.

• ELEMENTARY;

Elementary is a CBS television series based on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes detective stories with contemporary twists. It stars Jonny Lee Miller as Holmes and Lucy Liu as Watson.

Investigative series!

• DEVIOUS MAIDS; 

Devious Maids follows five maids who work for the rich and famous in Beverly Hills, but have ambitions and dreams of their own. The show stars Ana Ortiz (Marisol Duarte), Dania Ramirez (Rosie Falta), Roselyn Sanchez (Carmen Luna) Judy Reyes (Zoila Diaz) and Edy Ganem (Valentina Diaz) and is co-executive produced by Marc Cherry and Eva Longoria.

Drama Series!

• THE CSIs- CSI New York, Miami and Las Vegas

CSI is an innovative, new type of crime drama because the characters use cutting-edge forensic tools to examine the evidence to solve the case. Rather than a 'whodunnit' cop show (investigating witnesses/suspects), CSI explores the 'howdunnit'. CSI has been the number one scripted series in the Neilsen ratings for four years running. In 2007 nearly 84 million people watched CSI, making it the most watched show in the world.

• CASTLE-

My all time favourite! The best in the world, lol!

Meet Richard Castle, a successful murder-mystery writer who just killed off his main character. The show is produced by ABC Studios and Beacon Television. ABC debuted the show on March 9, 2009.

This show is like a part of my life, lool! It combines family life with great and intelligent crime stories. Has a good touch of comedy and romance as well. It is everything in one. You ought to watch!

• THE BLACKLIST-

An FBI fugitive, Raymond "Red" Reddington (Spader), joins the FBI in an attempt to work together and bring down criminals and terrorists. After their first victory, a list of dangerous but unknown criminals is revealed by Red. With the help of a rookie FBI profiler, Red will work to eliminate all those in "The List".

• THE BIG BANG THEORY-

Created by writer/producers Chuck Lorre (of Two and a Half Men) and Bill Prady (of Gilmore Girls) comes The Big Bang Theory.

This is the funniest I have on my list and I believe the funniest amongst top rated series airing now. Breathe of fresh air.

Comedy series!

• Being Mary Jane-

This BET series began as a movie before transitioning to a full-time series. It focuses on a woman- Gabrielle Union as MaryJane Paul with a successful professional life and less than successful personal life.

I like this series because it just exposes the life of the typical successful black American woman and how they find it hard to get a man( husband). Wish I could help them :( :p Emotionally that is! :d

• CRISIS-

NBC's Crisis is a new drama about a school bus of teenagers getting kidnapped by a well armed and seemingly well organised group, but these teenagers aren't just any old random group of hormonal young adults, no, they are the offspring of some of Americas most influential people, including the son of the POTUS.

• FLASHPOINT-

Flashpoint is an emotional journey following the lives of members of the SRU (Strategic Response Unit) as they solve hostage situations, bust gangs, and defuse bombs. They work by utilizing their training to get inside the heads of these people in order to make them reach their breaking point (aka their flashpoint)

• BROOKLYN 9:9-

Detective Jake Peralta has a light-hearted approach to crime, but things change when he gets a new by-the-book boss.

This has a very silly yet humorous twist to it. The very seemingly foolish way the cops catch criminals is what I love most about it. Hehe!

• UNFORGETTABLE-

Poppy Montgomery stars as an NYPD detective who has a medical condition that gives her the ability to remember everything. How amazing is that? Love, love, love this but unfortunately it stopped airing after the first season :(

• THE FRESH PRINCE OF BEL-AIR:

Yes I still watch this! *tongue out*. Come on, Will Smith did an amazing job; every episode is super hilarious.

• FOREVER-

I recently got this from a colleague at work and I absolutely love it.

It is about a NYC Medical Examiner Dr. Henry Morgan who has a secret, one that only he and his best friend/confidant Abe know. He studies the dead to solve criminal cases, but cannot find the answer to his own immortality for 200 years. His new partner, Detective Jo Martinez, is very impressed by his remarkable observation skills. Forever is written and executive-produced by Matt Miller. The series is produced by Warner Bros. Television and Lin Pictures.

• HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER-

A suspense-driven legal thriller about a defense attorney named Professor Annalise Keating (Viola Davis) and the four students from her class that she calls "How to Get Away with Murder," who begin working together in her legal office. It doesn't take long for them to get wrapped up in a world of sex, secrets, lies, drugs, and a murder plot that will begin to shake the very ground on which they stand.

• STALKER-

A gripping psychological thriller that revolves around a pair of L.A.P.D Threat Management Unit detectives who handle stalking incidents.
