IT APPEARS AS EVIL
Wednesday, March 06, 2013Hello God-fam
How have you been? Great I presume, lets head of to what God has for us today.
A lot of us Christians fall into temptation because we fail to identify situations or circumstances that ‘appears’, ‘looks like’, ‘might lead to’ sin.
The bible admonishes or instructs us to FLEE ALL APPEARANCES OF EVIL 1ST Thess 5; 22 (NKJV)
The Message Translation (MSG) says Throw out anything tainted with evil, The Amplified BIBLE (AMP) explains abstain as shrinking from and keeping aloof from evil.
It is our responsibility as God’s children to decipher every wrong from any circumstance and FLEE. Most times after we go astray (fall into sin) we most often start making excuses like- I DIDN’T PLAN IT TO HAVE HAPPENED THAT WAY, IT JUST DID! Nothing just happens! We must realize that we are either playing out Gods script (holiness) or walking in the devil’s play (sin). Neither God nor the devil can force us humans to do anything; we are given free will and the power of choice.
A believer with friends that wild party and drink a lot for example, visits and hangs out regularly with them will one day do does things he thought he had left behind. Christian unmarried partners who constantly keep themselves in secluded areas may most likely fall into fornication.
You can fill in the blanks for other situations and we must let the Spirit of God guide us in all truth.
We are not perfect but by grace and mercy we work towards perfection and grace must not be taken for granted, we must constantly work/walk in wisdom.
MORE TO COME.
STAY BEAUTIFUL AND LOVE GOD.............REMAIN PRICELESS
Celebrate you all.
